Grace Okereke is Associate Producer for Ecole des Sables’ Company Jant-Bi Germaine Acogny

We are thrilled to announce that Uprise Rebel founder, Grace Okereke, has been working as Associate Producer for Company Jant-Bi Germaine Acogny, part of Ecole des Sables, Senegal. The company is now under the new direction of Co-Artistic directors Alesandra Seutin and Wesley Ruzibiza who are working on new work.

A new mixed company composed of 7 dancers from Africa and the international Diaspora, Jant-Bi wants to be an ambassador for the TGA, and for the history and vision of the École des Sables. It wants to be not only new but also revisited, reappropriated and ready for the challenges of the century, those of giving a voice and above all of proposing its own aesthetics.
