How was your experience as an Uprise Rebel mentee?

I received mentorship from Grace as part of the Rosetta Arts Cultural Producers Programme 2022-2023. In our mentoring sessions I gained an insight into working as a Producer both in-house and freelance, and was able to clarify what my next steps could be after completing the programme. I also received practical advice on how to improve my CV and cover letter for roles I was applying for. Our sessions were invaluable and gave me the confidence and skills to apply for and be successful in obtaining work as a Producer.

How was your experience as an Uprise Rebel mentee?

Grace is an amazing guide. She is kind and warm but consistent with critical analysis and discourse. In our first session together, I felt both validated as an artist and pushed to keep growing my practice. She is the type of supporter who sees all that you are and all that you can be which is a gift in a world that is often transactional and complacent.

How was your experience with Grace?

Grace was assigned to me as a mentor during the CPH-Stage festival, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. I was looking for residency programs and international theater communities, and though we met briefly, I gained many insightful perspectives on the numerous international performing networks in the EU and the US. Grace took the time to provide me with the information I needed, as well as advice on how to approach the various networks that would be suitable for my profile. She is not only professional but also funny and organized, making her very easy to work with. I am currently applying for a few of the membership programs she recommended and using the advice she gave me.
