Grace Okereke to Lead Workshop on Applying for Arts Council Funding with Trinity Laban, 13th April 2022

Uprise Rebel are thrilled to announce that our Founder and CEO, Grace Okereke, will be leading a webinar on ‘How to Apply for Arts Council Funding’ as part of Trinity Laban’s new THRIVE programme. The webinar will take place on Wednesday 13th April, 16:00 - 18:00.

Presented by Trinity Laban and running from April – August 2022, THRIVE is geared to early career and emerging professional dancers, recent dance graduates or those seeking to replenish their professional dance technique skills.

Grace Okereke will lead the first of six business focussed webinars. Grace has been in the dance sector for nearly two decades, with her career evolving from performer and teacher to manager, with the latter being the predominant role. She is the founder of her own company, Uprise Rebel, which supports Black female choreographers and administrators, as well as developing inclusive audiences.

As part of THRIVE, you can mix and match business skills webinars such as Grace's with professional-level weekend intensives in dance techniques and action learning group discussions.
