Alleyne Dance Receive New Dance Film Commission from Phoenix Dance Theatre

Uprise Rebel are pleased to announce that Alleyne Dance have been commissioned by Phoenix Dance Theatre (UK) to work on a new dance film to be released as part of the company’s Digital Programme in Spring 2022. Following on from the success of Phoenix Dance Company's summer 2021 digital programme featuring three male choreographers, Alleyne Dance are one of three female choreographers commissioned in this new programme.

Alleyne Dance are creating a work in collaboration with the company's dynamic dancers and award winning director Antoine Marc of Arts and Movement Ltd. The piece will explore the emotional and physical stress of growing apart from a person that you once had a bond with, inspired by true stories of family and friends.
