Uprise Rebel attends IETM Focus Den Bosch 2024 in The Netherlands

Uprise Rebel Founder and Executive Producer, Grace Okereke, recently attended DECLINING OR THRIVING? The New International Reality at IETM Focus Den Bosch 2024. The event delved into the urgent challenges our international arts community faces today—like the climate crisis, global inequalities, and geopolitical tensions—calling for a bold rethinking of how we work across borders.

The workshops led by Simón Adinia Hanukai were a true highlight. The Rules of the Game pushed us to rethink equitable distribution of resources and embrace environmentally sustainable practices in our international collaborations. Meanwhile, Rework the System sparked essential conversations on how the global performing arts community can drive transformation within economic and political frameworks.
