Uchenna Dance Revives The Head Wrap Diaries for Netherlands Tour in June 2023
Uprise Rebel are pleased to announce that Uchenna Dance have revived their critically acclaimed dance theatre production The Head Wrap Diaries for a special short run in the Netherlands in 2023. After touring over 20 venues in the UK over three years, this is the first time that the production has been performed in Europe.
Audiences in The Hague and Utrecht were treated to club styles House, Waacking, and Vogue with African and Contemporary Dance, with a good dose of humour and a sizzling soundtrack of sounds intertwined, The Head Wrap Diaries explores femininity, beauty, culture, sisterhood and most importantly; HAIR!
