Alleyne Dance to be part of Lewisham Borough of Culture Programme 2022

We are thrilled to announce that Alleyne Dance have been announced as part of Lewisham’s Year as the Mayor of London’s London Borough of Culture 2022, led by The Albany and Lewisham Council.

‘We are Lewisham’ will celebrate Lewisham’s diversity and its trailblazers past and present. With a call to action on the climate emergency and a celebration of Lewisham as a Borough of Sanctuary, the year-long programme will bring together neighbourhoods, communities and stories. 

Alleyne Dance will be leading a mass collective dance moment as part of the opening Lewisham Borough of Culture programme, wit dates to be announced soon. In addition to this, the company will be involved in working with community groups throughout the year-long programme.
