Alleyne Dance’s ‘(Re)United’ nominated for National Dance Awards 2021

We are thrilled to announce that Alleyne Dance’s interactive film Re(United) has been nominated in the Best Short Dance Film category for the 21st edition of the National Dance Awards. Nominations for the awards are made by members of the Dance Section of the Critics’ Circle. The awards event will be held virtually this year, on Sunday 27th June 2021.

Re(United) is directed by award-winning filmmaker Antoine Marc, produced by Grace Okereke at Uprise Rebel and performed by award-winning dancers Kristina and Sadé Alleyne. Highlighting the strength of family connectivity; witness the anticipation, joy, fear and excitement leading up to the moment siblings reunite after being separated for over half of their lives. Witness how connectivity is not limited to the physical, but can be held together through love and hope.
